Rates & Policies

Rental Rates

Crafty Chics Cottage has the perfect retreat package for you and your friends.

Reservations include a Thursday 9:00 am check-in and a Sunday 3:00 pm check-out. A Wednesday check-in can be included for an additional $45 per person (minimum of three from your group). Want additional days? Feel free to ask us about adding them.

Rates quoted indicate booking a given room for the entire 4 day/3 night weekend; prices are not a per person/per night rate.

The rates below come out to $185.50 per person and include the hotel tax.

Chic Clique: Sleeps 6 guests, total room price is $1,113
Classy Chics: Only upstairs room, sleeps 6 guests, total room price is $1,1113
Charming Chicadees: Sleeps 3 guests, total room price is $556.50
Chatty Chiclets: Sleeps 3 guests, total room price is $556.50
Whole House: Sleeps 18 guests. Total price is $3,339

Our prices are subject to change at any time without notice. We will do our best to hold your reservation price, but with inflation in many areas we are unable to guarantee prices.

Caring for the Cottage

We ask you to help us take care of the house with several small requests at check out:

Please strip the bed you used. No need to do the wash - just leave them in basket marked sheets.
Please turn off the power/USB cubes on the bedside tables.
Put all dry towels in the basket marked "Dry Towels". Leave them hanging if they are damp or wet.
Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start a run.
Make sure all small appliances used are put away in the cabinets.
Transfer all the kitchen trash to the two large trashcans on the back porch.
Take the bags of trash out of each bathroom and place them in trashcans on the back porch.
Please place personal crafting trash in the craft room bin and place your trash can on your chair. No need to remove the trash bags. We will replace as needed.
To avoid odors, during your stay, please do not put kitchen trash in the craft room's trash bin to empty your crafting trashcans.
Please make sure all the doors are locked prior to leaving. Check out is at 3pm, but I set locks at 3;15pm. just in case you are running a little behind. Please remember locks will cease to work with your code at 3:15pm. We don't always start our cleaning on Sundays. Please do not stay after 3:15 as you will be leaving the cottage unlocked! Please give me a curtesy call at 214-537-5196 if this occurs.
If any of the above are not done, you may incur an extra cleaning fee of $150.

Cancellations

We know life happens and sometimes requires a need for you to change your retreat plans.

If you need to change your date, we will do our best to accommodate your request but are not under any obligation to accommodate a date change request. Any changes are made at our discretion. You must contact us prior to your 45-day final payment date.

If you chose to cancel and not reschedule prior to 45-days of arrival, you will forfeit your security deposit. If you cancel within 45-days of your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full amount due. We will attempt to fill your rental dates. If we are able to fill your reservation, you will not be responsible for any further balances due and will refund all payments, less the security deposit. If we are unable to fill your rental, you remain responsible for making full payment on your reservations.

We can’t cancel individual beds within a room. You may cancel an individual room(s) from a whole house rental prior to 45-days of your arrival date.

General Policies

You must use our masseuse. Insurance does not allow non-employees of CCC.
Wait list: If the weekend you want is booked, please email and have your name added to the wait list. If there is a cancellation, you will have first chance to book.
Crafty Chics Cottage is a non-smoking home.
Please don't move my tables. I have extension cords zip tied underneath to supply electric outlets to all crafting stations. Moving tables may interfere on others space.
For safety reasons, no candles or other open flames allowed
Guests must be female and 18 years of age or older. Guests 16 or 17 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.
We love pets! But we can't accommodate them at the cottage.
Crafty Chics Cottage is not liable for any loss, damages or claims for any reason for any events outside our control. Such as loss of power, utilities, cable or internet issues, personal injury, etc.
You must stay in the room you reserved. If any other room or bathroom is used, your credit card on file will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $150
Use courtesy when staying with others. You are sharing the space. We ask that you sit your group together. This allows other groups arriving after you to sit together as well.
